Last updated: please refer to the date shown on this page when you accept these terms.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Jareji website and the Jareji mobile application for tracking travellers' expenses (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully before placing an order or using the Service. By ordering or using the Service, you confirm that you accept these Terms.
The Service is provided by Jareji ("Jareji", "we", "us", "our").
You can contact us about any question concerning these Terms, your order, or your use of the Service using the details above. We will aim to reply to written enquiries within a reasonable time, normally within five working days.
The Service allows you to record, categorise and review expenses incurred while travelling. We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. We may update, improve or modify features from time to time, and we will tell you about any change that materially affects what you have paid for.
The Service is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide financial, tax, accounting or legal advice, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of the figures you enter and for any decisions you make based on them.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an Order. Please keep your confirmation email for your records.
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where VAT applies. The price payable is the price displayed at the time you place your Order.
| Item | What it means |
|---|---|
| Price | As displayed at checkout, in GBP, including any applicable VAT. |
| Payment | Taken at the time of Order, or at each renewal date for recurring plans, using the payment method you provide. |
| Included | Access to the app features described for your chosen plan, and reasonable support by email. |
| Not included | Your mobile device, internet connection, data charges from your network provider, and any third-party fees. |
If your plan renews automatically, we will make that clear before you pay, along with the renewal period and price. We will give you reasonable notice of any price change, which will apply only from your next renewal. If a payment fails, we may suspend access until it is resolved.
You are responsible for keeping your Account details confidential and for activity under your Account. You agree not to:
You keep ownership of your Content. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enter any Content you submit, including receipts or information about other people.
If you are a Consumer and you buy from us online, you have the right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel your Order within 14 days, starting on the day the contract is formed, without giving a reason.
To cancel, tell us clearly by emailing [email protected] or writing to 21 Brick Lane, London, N2 5FL. You may use any clear statement; a model form is not required.
If you ask us to start providing the Service during the 14-day period, you will be asked to confirm this request. If you then cancel within the period, you must pay a proportionate amount for what has been supplied up to the point you told us you wished to cancel. Where digital content has been fully supplied with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you lose the right to cancel, the cancellation right may no longer apply.
Where you validly cancel, we will refund payments due to you without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, using the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise.
You may stop a recurring plan at any time by emailing us or using any cancellation option made available in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise, and you will keep access until then.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms and fail to remedy the breach after reasonable notice, or immediately where the breach cannot be remedied or where required by law.
If you are unhappy with the Service, please tell us first so we can put things right:
If you are a Consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides that digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and that services must be performed with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Terms affects those statutory rights. If digital content is faulty, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or, in some cases, a refund or price reduction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your statutory rights as a Consumer.
Subject to the above:
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, although we will take reasonable steps to restore it promptly if it fails. We recommend that you keep your original receipts and records.
We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as power or network failures, severe weather, industrial action or failures of third-party infrastructure. We will tell you if such an event affects the Service and will do what we reasonably can to limit its effect.
We handle personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. We act as the data controller for the personal data described in our Privacy Policy, which explains the information we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it and your rights.
This website sets only one cookie, named privacy_state. It stores your consent choice and is kept for one year. We do not run analytics on this site and we do not set any other cookies. Advertising measurement runs only after you have given consent, and only on the order confirmation page.
You have rights over your personal data, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of them, email [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law or in the Service. The version in force when you place an Order applies to that Order. If we make a material change that affects an ongoing plan, we will give you reasonable notice, and you may cancel before the change takes effect.
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a Consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
